Our textile engineers work in dedicated project teams to research and develop new products or manufacturing processes. Flexibility within our manufacturing organization ensures that development trials can be undertaken without interrupting mainstream production.

TEXENE has a well equipped textile testing laboratory, staffed by experienced technicians. Manufacturing and quality control personnel work closely with laboratory technicians to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

In addition to standard physical testing apparatus, our range of laboratory facilities includes state-of-the art equipment used to evaluate the ultimate performance envelope of our products.

International Participation

TEXENE's engineers and scientists actively participate in technical committees within industry associations such as EFIBCA, FIBCA and TAPPI, and within national and international standards organizations including: ANSI, ASTM, BSI, CEN, CENELEC, IEC and ISO. Participation at this level ensures our knowledge of industry developments remains current and provides wider industry with access to our own knowledge and expertise.
